Three out of five Rhode Islanders support marijuana legalization. Speaker of the House Nicholas Mattiello and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio may allow a vote if it’s demanded by constituents.
A rally is scheduled for May 16 requesting a vote on legalization in the Rhode Island General Assembly, Regulate Rhode Island reports. Rhode Islanders want to know where their legislators stand on the issue.

When – Tuesday, May 16 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
Where – 82 Smith Street (The Rhode Island State House) in Providence
